Established on the web in March 2008 we have been trading and selling art through other avenues for many many years.
The Artist is James Martin, born and raised in Scotland by the shores of Loch Fyne where he and his family still live.
James has been painting for over 25 years and has sold paintings to many satisfied customers from all over the World, although James now prefers to focus his talent to portraits, he is equally at home painting landscapes, townscapes and seascapes.
James now concentrates mainly on his digital paintings rather than on the traditional and has become very proficient in that media. With over 20 years of experience in digital media and the leaps forward taken in software and hardwares in the last 5, James produces his finest work yet.
Often is
the case where digital artists like James are mistaken for artists who use the
likes of photoshop softwares etc, this art should not be mistaken for that
but instead each stroke of the digital brush on his digital pressure
sensitive canvas's caresses the canvas as sensitively and precisely as a
traditional brush would.
Each photo to painting takes between 15 and 31 days to complete and using, not only his digital skills but James also calls upon years of experience as a watercolourist and acrylic artist to create these wonderful masterpieces.
