Dots per inch (dpi) is the resolution of a file when printed to a certain size. The higher the dpi the better the quality of the final production. Ideal dpi is 250 to 300 however images with a dpi less than 200 may be acceptable. When taking images on digital cameras, shoot at the highest resolution, ie. a 2048 x 1536 setting will mean the ideal print size would be 20" x 15". Each photograph uploaded to us is put through our canvas appraisal process to ensure a canvas production is suitable for your image.
